Mock Emergency Evacuation - Jabriya Station
Oula Fuel Company organized a mock evacuation of a fire case at Jabriya station. The operation was unannounced to ensure staff readiness and to ensure emergency systems were ready.
Where the simulated evacuation process began with an alarm sounding and announcing the presence of a fire in the station, immediately all employees responded, as they instructed all customers in the station to the safe assembly points and then the evacuation process. The evacuation process was completed in a record time of less than 3 minutes and it took only 3 minutes for the fire engines to arrive.
This process comes under the supervision of the Operations Department and the Safety and Quality Control Department in cooperation with the General Fire Department and coordination with Lt. Col. Jassim Hussain at the Jabriya Fire Station to ensure readiness and immediate response to all those in the station. The employees also had the opportunity to develop their skills in such cases and the effectiveness of the plan.
This periodic step is due to Oula's concern for the safety of its employees and customers in the first place, and its constant endeavor to reach the highest levels of readiness and preparation for emergencies represented by fires and others.
